Frequently Asked Questions
If you're new to video production you might have some questions that you're a bit shy to ask so we thought we'd write some commonly asked questions out for you:
Q. What cameras do you shoot on?
A. We have our own range of Sony HDV cameras, however if you require filming to be done on a different format then we are more than happy to hire in other cameras.
Q. What equipment do you use for editing?
A. We are Mac based and edit on Final Cut Pro as well as using the whole spectrum of Final Cut Studio applications. If you are PC based we deal with all compitability issues, which are fewer and fewer since the introduction of Intel Macs.
Q. How can we keep up to date with the project during the edit?
A. During the editing process we can send you regular updates by providing you with a link on our website where your project will be hosted.
Q. How far can you travel for the production?
A. We have to date travelled as far as Italy however we'd relish the challenge of further climes.
Q. Is there a cancellation fee should a problem arise with the shoot?
A. A cancellation fee only applies if the shoot is cancelled up to 7 days prior to the start date. Rearrangements don't incur such a fee.
Q. What media do you output to?
A. We can put your final edit on DVD, Video Tape, Mini DV Tape, CD-ROM and any web format. Web formats include Flash Video (FLV), Quicktime (MPEG, MOV, MP4, AVI) and Windows (WMV). If there is a file we haven't listed just ask and we'll let you know.
